At that very moment the Subway Employee informed him that the debit card he had handed her was declined, to which the acquaintance said “Maybe worse than you thought?”
At that point Andrew kept a solid face but scrambled to find any company debit or credit card that would go through to buy his Subway lunch.
While this may not seem like a dramatic story, he realized that people have cards declined all the time, the fact is, he was flat broke...
… scraping by day-by-day because his Landscape Company was eating up every extra dollar he made.
He was broke because he had no financial plan or a way to monitor how his Landscape Companies were operating.
And even when he went “all chips in” and started promoting and selling like crazy… he ran into another BIG problem…
He didn’t have the team to complete the projects
He didn’t have the cash to flow them
The projects were outside of what his team had ever been trained to complete
Then, he had to do something even harder…
He called over $200K in projects and thousands of dollars in monthly maintenance contracts and had to tell each one of them that he would not be able to provide the solutions I promised.
He fielded all types of questions from Mad, Sad, to asking if they could pay him more to do it…

He had to send people deposit money back and took a MAJOR hit in the market because of this.
